Let's make things interesting for week 9.

Note to self, the camera on camcorder doesn't work well at night in snow.

"It's snowing outside, I'm sitting by the fire inside on my laptop looking at a My Little Pony mod for Dwarf Fortress while the Daytona 500 is on the TV. I didn't see this coming." - Me, circa 3 hours ago.

So we are dangerously edging close to double digits for the weeks this blog has been going on, and I've been slacking on interesting challenges and whatnot to write. That's why for this week I'm going head on with not just one challenge, not two challenges, but three challenges. I started it at 4:44PM Saturday, so the week had a head start. The first challenge is to take a day long bus trip. Not necessarily a full day on the bus but go where I'd usually drive out of Beaumont by bus and do a leave early come back late deal. This isn't really a challenge as much as making sure I use my school provided bus pass. We'll see how that goes.

The second challenge is one that I expected to be tough, which is to go on 2 dates this week. For those who don't know me, many would use the term "forever-alone" because I rarely date despite trying. I figure though that if I tried hard enough I could not just get lucky and have one date, but could go for a second as well by forcing myself to be assertive. Part of this challenge is that they have to be two different girls. I expected this one to be the most challenging. At the time of writing, I have one down and another one that's almost certain, as well as 2 other possible ones. I'm not sure what's going on personally, it's like this my lucky week or I'm doing enough different. Go figure, right?

Finally, what I've been working on the hardest, the third challenge. I must stay off Reddit for 3 days. I'm already 2 days in, but it's really tough. This includes avoiding most of imgur and 9gag for maximum effect. On the bright side, I've been able to see how much of the internet has changed, starting to read more blog sites and tech sites, I hope to keep that going after I get done with this last 24 hour stretch.

So, that's all for challenges. I've recently switched from Sprint to Verizon which is nice, except now I can't get short code texts to send from Google calendar. It's going to be a long week. Keep warm, and stay away from the pony mods.
