Pirates of the Inland: Curse of the Yellow Submarine, week 7

Yarr maties, and welcome to the blog. Now, you may be wondering why I have the whole pirate talk on, and surprisingly enough there is a reason. For those of you who don't know, I reside in Beaumont, California. Not much happens in the local area, which is what makes the current happenings most exciting. It turns out that since the first of February there has been a pirate station playing non stop Beatles music. Now, it's not being broadcasted in my town, most likely Hemet which is just a canyon away, but I can hear it so it is awesome. If you're reading this while it's fresh and live in the Inland Empire, check out 87.7 FM. It's probably broadcasting somewhere around here.

Now, onto other news, the podcasting is coming along interestingly. My laptop has some loose plastic near the fan so I can't record anything too well without the sound being too much in the way. The bright side of this is that I am going to be getting an actual tower PC. It won't be brand new since it will be a hand me down from my brother, but it will do the job. I'll probably be using some of the same software that the Sword and Laser Podcast uses, including SpinXpress and Levelator. I must take this small time to thank Veronica Belmont for mentioning these while on The Nerdist Podcast. It may not be until April, but once I have the new computer podcasting will start right away.

So, it's that time of year. No, I don't mean Valentines Day, I mean Girl Scout Cookie season. We get to open our wallets and dump our cash in order for boxes of cookies, and we wouldn't do it if the cookies weren't so delicious. Darn those cookie pushers!

Finally, there is no new picture for this week. I can't seem to get my webcam to work today and my camcorder's batteries are dead. Instead, here's my cat taunting me as he holds my jeans hostage. Please, spay and neuter your pets.
