Week 44: Zombies and Tablets

Hello one and all. I'm usually not one to be big for Halloween, but I decided to give it a shot early and it was awesome. What did I do that was so awesome you may ask? Well, it involved two of America's greatest past times. Zombies and beauty pageants. That's right, the 2012 Inland Empire Zombie Beauty Pageant.

There they are, contestants from the pageant. Lovely aren't they? Well, at least what's left of them. I have to say though, the show was quite magnificent. The people running it, Forbidden Panel, were the same people who ran the Inland Empire Comic Expo. Shameless plug for these guys, if you get a chance to go to one of their shows, freaking go.

In other news, I got an Android tablet finally. It was from Rite-aid, it was priced at $100, and with a bunch of $10 certificates for there that I had I got it for $6. It was a Craig CMP741e. I do this not as another shameless plug, but as a warning. Unless you can get it for $6, which I believe is $1 too expensive, then do not get it. I repeat, DO NOT. It's not worth it unless you root it. I had to root it not to get paid apps for free but to just get free apps to work. You have a better chance surviving at a zombie beauty pageant than you do with one of these unrooted devices in your hands for over 2 hours.
