Week 38: Holy Mother of Statistical Standards Batman!

Alright, I'll admit it. I have no idea where I was going with that title. All I know is that I doubt it will be relevant to the point that I may need to use it as a title so why not use it now? Not much has gone on lately, although I have a new favorite quote.

Lowering your standards is the superhighway to self satisfaction. - jbazooka
It's hard for me to think how this is not true. Trust me, I actually did try to think of a way to disprove this. It may not lead to the highest amount of self satisfaction, but it gets satisfaction easiest. I don't know what Richards and Jagger were talking about when they said that they couldn't get any satisfaction. Maybe I heard the words wrong. "Can't Get No" is a double negative so maybe they were saying "I can get satisfaction"? Have I heard it all wrong? Granted, if I have it doesn't mean that my life is a lie because my life doesn't rely on The Rolling Stones much but I swear that I've heard it enough times. Maybe just not clearly enough.

Anyways, the point still stands. If you can't get no satisfaction, just lower your standards and you'll be good to go in no time flat. If you can't get no satisfaction still though, your standards are probably low to begin with and in that case try raising them. You know how your parents told you not to mess with the knobs? Well take the knobs of your standards and adjust them until they work. And once they do, I guess it's a good idea to still mess with them every once in a while to check for improvement but not too much.

I guess that's your bit of internet wisdom for the week.
