Forums are hard to start on a server. Even when the instructions look easy, something always goes wrong. Anyways, I've been browsing around 4-ch.net lately. It brings back memories of high school, thankfully the good ones. Anyways, I thought I'd give a go at trying to start my own to test with on a friends server. Sadly, it appears to be kind of hard to start. Never fear though, I may have it up by next week.
While on the subject of forums, 4-ch was actually inspired by the famous Japanese forum 2-ch. Some pretty interesting things have happened on that forum, one particular event being the Densha Otoko incident. It was a story so big that it became a book, several manga series, a TV series, a movie, and even a theatrical play. Intrigued after hearing about it, I decided to give the TV series a shot and needless to say the book is on it's way. I sort of went on a book shopping spree on Amazon and got that, along with a guide of 1000 things everyone should know how to do as well as a book on lifes questions. At least, that's what I think the second one was. It was way cheap and kind of an impulse buy. My bank account is going to hate me...
